What a fantastic Carnival Week we had here at Parker Ridge!

We kicked off the festivities with Skee-Ball, and other fun games under the carport, complete with delicious ice cream cones. The fun kept rolling with a wonderful musical performance by Ty and Nat Peterson from Michigan, who had everyone singing along to the classic song Country Roads.

A highlight of the week was our Community Bingo with our friends visiting from Dirigo Pines Retirement Community in Orono. We also celebrated the incredible talent of our residents and staff through our Carnival Exhibit, showcasing handmade crafts, photos, artwork, button art, canned goods, and baked treats, with prizes awarded on Friday.

We tried a giant Jenga game on Thursday and Friday brought even more joy with a cheerful visit from Clara the Clown, who dazzled everyone with balloon animals and smiles. To top it all off, we wrapped up the summer season with a festive Happy Hour featuring the Tough End String Band from Orono.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make this week so memorable and fun!

We’re especially looking forward to Friday’s Autumn Happy Hour featuring live folk music from The Tough End String Band. 🍂🎶
