🐴🪰 Help Our Horses Stay Comfortable This Summer! 🪰🐴

As the temperatures rise, so do the flies! Our therapy horses work hard to provide safe, meaningful experiences for our riders, but constant swatting, stomping, and shaking their heads to fight off flies can make it difficult for them to focus and stay comfortable during lessons.

We're currently in need of fly spray to help keep our horses happy, comfortable, and focused on what they do best—changing lives. ❤️

If you'd like to help, donations of fly spray are greatly appreciated, or monetary donations can be made to help us purchase supplies throughout the summer. I'll attach ways to donate in the comments.

Every bottle makes a difference for the horses who make such a difference for our riders.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TONIGHT! 🚨

We are in urgent need of volunteers for this evening's riding sessions at New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding!

🐴 We need: • 2 volunteers for the 5:00 PM session • 2 volunteers for the 6:00 PM session

No horse experience is necessary—we can show you what to do! Volunteers help make it possible for our riders to participate safely and successfully, and your support truly makes a difference.

If you can help, even for just one session, please comment below or send us a message as soon as possible.

Tomorrow go and support Special Olympics!!

Post 03 will be having a Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kentucky!

On June 2, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., the run will begin at Post 03 and will go approximately 4.71 miles to Chaney’s Dairy Barn. If you would like to make a donation, you can scan the code below. All funds go to the Special Olympics Kentucky.

We would like invite everyone to come out to Chaney’s Dairy Barn at 6:30 p.m. and support the Special Olympics Kentucky!

What an incredible night for New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding! 💙

BG Skate Night was an absolute hit, and we are beyond thankful for the amazing crowd that came out to support us. One of the highlights of the night was playing “human centipede” with Elizabeth — who happily pulled us all around the rink in her motorized chair 😂 She was such a good sport and kept everyone laughing all night long!

We also want to give a huge thank you to BG Skate for listening to our suggestions and helping make the event more inclusive and welcoming for all of our guests. Seeing everyone skating, laughing, and making memories together meant so much to us.

Thank you to every person who showed up, encouraged our riders, volunteered, skated, laughed, and helped make this such a special evening. Nights like this remind us exactly why community matters. 💙🛼
