💛 SOMETIMES THE BIGGEST BLESSINGS AREN’T THE ONES WE EXPECT. 💛
Last night, New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding didn’t walk away with the Women’s Fund’s top award. But we walked away with something incredibly meaningful.
We received $10,000. And we had the opportunity to share our story with 260 people.
For nearly 30 years, New Beginnings has quietly been changing lives, one person, one horse, and one connection at a time.
Last night, we had the opportunity to share not only where we’ve been, but where we dream of going. We shared our vision of creating a place where women and children facing some of life’s hardest moments can find hope, healing, and a new beginning.
And 260 people were there to hear it.
That matters more than words can express.
We are deeply grateful to the Women’s Fund of South Central Kentucky for believing in our mission and investing $10,000 in our future. Your generosity will make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
We also want to congratulate our fellow finalists, Kids on the Block and Habitat for Humanity, and extend a heartfelt congratulations to HOTEL INC, this year’s award recipient. Our community is stronger because of the work each of these organizations does.
Our founder, Julie, had a dream nearly 30 years ago. And although she is no longer here to see where that dream is taking us, her vision continues to open doors and touch lives.
We may not have received the $100,000, but our story was heard. Our mission was seen. And our dream is still very much alive.
To everyone who has believed in New Beginnings, supported us, prayed for us, and stood beside us—thank you.
Our story isn’t finished. In so many ways, we’re just beginning. 💛🐴
