Last week, some of the Vance Thompson Vision team made the trip to Anaheim for the American Academy of Optometry’s annual meeting for a week packed with learning, collaboration and connecting with colleagues from across the eye care community.

Our physicians had the opportunity to share their expertise through lectures and presentations, while our optometry residents spent the week learning from leaders in the field and building connections with other eye care professionals.

Meetings like Academy give our team the chance to learn from colleagues, exchange ideas and stay engaged with the continued advancements in eye care.

Last week was a magical Symposium day with Vance Thompson Vision Billings!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Vance Thompson Vision Montana Symposium! This year’s Harry Potter theme brought a little magic to eye care as we spent the day learning, connecting, and sharing the latest in eye care with doctors and teams from across Montana.

A special thank you to our Vance Thompson Vision Billings team for being incredible hosts this year and helping make the day such a success. We were also so grateful to have Dr. Kelly Sieps join us from South Sioux City as a panel speaker!

Thank you to all of our attendees, speakers, team members, and everyone who traveled to Billings to be part of the day.

The Montana Symposium returns to Bozeman in 2027! We can’t wait to welcome everyone back next year!

Vance Thompson Vision spent their evening at the Teddy Bear Den getting their hands dirty—moving baby items, organizing, and restocking the Den so our moms can find the things they need when they visit.

This is what community looks like. It takes people willing to show up, pitch in, and get the work done! Thank you Vance Thompson Vision🥰
