This is a great drill to start the process of opening mobility at the hip. We can address the hip capsule itself, which is a common limiter of hip mobility that is often missed.

Make sure to use a thick band and get it as close to the hip joint as possible. This will make sure we are effecting the passive tissue of the hip joint.

Spine mobility and stability is a critical piece of golf performance and longevity.

This is a great drill to help drive and improve mobility at the spine and rib cage. We use the joints here as they were designed to move in 3 dimensions, turning, tilting, and flexing/extending them.

Work this into your pre-round warm up!

We have realized how little Nashville golfers are doing to work on and improve baseline fitness. And when golfers do invest in their fitness, their tends to be over-emphasis of "golf specific" movements.

This is a great drill to help improve scapular stability and trunk turn.

These qualities need to happen together. Training them together goes a long way in improving carryover to the backswing and downswing in golfers. Shoulder pain or mobility loss in golfers is one of the most common problems we treat, so working to maintain and improve these movement qualities could go a long way in preventing shoulder pain and tightness in the future.

This is a great drill for shoulder complex endurance.

We are driving thoracic spine extension, scapular mobility, and endurance from the smaller muscles of the rotator cuff working through this reverse snow angel position.

Higher reps and moving slow is critical here as we change the patterns of shoulder mobility.
