Twenty years of caring for patients and families where they feel most at home.

American Healthcare Leader recently featured Laura Templeton, our President and Chief Operating Officer, West. A nurse by background, Laura joined Compassus in 2012, when we served around 2,500 hospice patients in just nine states. Today, more than 10,000 Compassus teammates care for more than 180,000 patients each year across 33 states.

John, a resident at The Waterford at Colby, had a heartfelt wish that took him back to cherished memories. Having worked as a pit man for his family’s racing team, racing remained close to his heart.

When Erin, the activities director at The Waterford at Colby, contacted Compassus Hospice in Marshfield to help make John’s final wish come true, our team immediately stepped in to create an unforgettable experience.

With support from Solutionz Racing and the collaboration of the Compassus Marshfield Hospice team, including Kylah Hill, director of clinical services, John once again immersed himself in the racing world. He met with the racing team, shared stories about his time in the pits, and went home with some racing memorabilia.
