When life gives you 🍋……
This adult patient came to us with 2 problems:
1️⃣ An edge to edge bite on his front teeth
2️⃣ A failing baby tooth with no permanent tooth underneath. The plan was extraction ➡️ Implant
Luckily, the dentist recommended an orthodontic consult first. We were able to correct the patients front teeth and give him a healthier bite before the implant was placed and restored. Excellent teamwork ➡️ excellent results.

A combination of surgical and orthodontic bite correction may be the ‘best’ plan, but it may not be an easy option for every person. For this patient, we widened her smile and closed her open bite without surgery. It’s still a pretty great result! 😎💫🎯
Excellent use of elastics, working on tongue posture, and retention were also critical to making this plan work.
