🎨✨ ONE YEAR OF ARTE DE STREGA ✨🎨
A year ago, I took the leap and created a practice that felt like me—a space where creativity and clinical work could exist together, where therapy didn’t always have to look like sitting on a couch and finding the perfect words.
One year later, I’m incredibly grateful for what this little practice has become. 🤍
I’ve had the privilege of sitting with people through grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, relationships, transitions, and all of the complicated in-between parts of being human. I’ve watched clients make art, laugh, cry, get angry, discover new parts of themselves, and slowly begin creating lives that feel more like their own.
And somehow, while growing this practice, I’ve also continued growing as a clinician and pursuing my doctorate in Clinical Psychology—which has challenged and expanded me in ways I never could have anticipated.
As I move into year two, there will be some changes, including an adjustment to my session rates. I believe in being transparent about that while also remaining committed to keeping therapy accessible, which is why sliding-scale spaces will continue to be available. Current clients will receive information directly regarding any changes that affect them.
Mostly, though, this post is just a really big thank you.
To every person who has trusted me with their story, referred someone to me, shared my work, attended a group, supported my practice, or simply told someone, “I know an art therapist you might like”—thank you. 🥹
Year one was about building something I believed in.
Year two is about continuing to make it better. 🖤
Here’s to another year of making art, making meaning, and making space for every part of ourselves.
