Of North Tonawanda, NY. Passed away peacefully in the care of Niagara Hospice at age 79 after a brief illness. Eleanor was born in Buffalo, NY, to the parents of Laura and Andrew Panfil. She worked as a nurses aide for VNA and as a private home health care aide before retiring in 2002. Eleanor loved to cook and play bingo. She also liked going to the casinos, especially in Atlantic City, and playing online slot games for fun. She enjoyed watching Sabres and Bills games and listening to music. She is a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of North Tonawanda. Eleanor is survived by her children, Jennifer, Frank Jr., Jon and step-daughter Carol. She is also survived by her sister Claudia. Eleanor is preceded by her husband of 40 years, Frank Capuano Sr., and her brother Richard Panfil. A private service will be held for friends and family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Niagara Hospice. Caring dog lover to late Warren and late Fala. Survived by siblings, Eugene E. Czajkowski, and Shirley A. (late Harold R.) Miller; sister-in-law Susan D. Czajkowski; nieces and nephews: Elizabeth A. (Todd) Murphy (Godchild), Julie A. Burdette (Christopher Granda), Dr. Jeffrey A. (Su-lien Sun) Miller and Amy E.
