💙 Nurse’s Week Spotlight: Sarah Franco, RN 💙
For more than 12 years, Sarah Franco has been a dedicated and impactful member of the Med/Surg/ICU team at Cassia Regional Hospital. She is known for being passionate, caring, dedicated, and deeply committed to both her patients and her team.
Sarah consistently delivers the highest quality of care while treating every patient with empathy, compassion, and respect. She is a strong patient advocate—promptly contacting providers when critical findings arise, educating patients to help protect them from harm, and ensuring their needs are heard and met. Sarah’s exceptional critical‑thinking skills allow her to quickly identify signs of patient decline, and her proactive, decisive responses have saved many lives.
In addition to her bedside care, Sarah serves as an ICU nurse, charge nurse, and house supervisor, where she demonstrates outstanding professionalism and leadership. She is a respected role model and a strong voice for nurses, helping drive positive change across Cassia Regional and the broader Intermountain system. Sarah is passionate about mentoring and teaching others, supporting her coworkers, and creating an environment where nurses feel heard, valued, and empowered to succeed.
On the unit, Sarah is widely known as a dependable educator, team player, patient advocate, and positive presence. Her strong work ethic and willingness to support others make her a trusted leader and teammate every shift.
