August's Athlete of the Month is Lewis and Clark High School senior Davin! 🏈✨

Throughout his recovery, Davin has remained fully dedicated to his rehab program. He takes ownership of his progress by ensuring his physical therapist, his athletic trainer, his physician and his family all have the information needed to support his success.

His perseverance, commitment and outstanding work ethic have been instrumental in his recovery journey. Congrats, Davin!

⛹️‍♂️🤝 Twin brothers Jaxon and Trenton have always had a deep love of sports. They are each other’s biggest supporters and fiercest competitors. What they never expected to share was the same sports injury.

Within months of each other, they both suffered the same ACL injury. No matter the challenges, they relied on each other to overcome hurdles and discover their own resilience.

Today, they are both back on the path to the sports that they love thanks to the specialty sports medicine care they received at Shriners Children’s Spokane! ✨

They were both recently recognized through our Athlete of the Month program, a monthly award that celebrates a standout athlete for their dedication to their recovery.

How cool is this car?! 🤩🐦🏎️

"Woody" is a 1989 Chevy S-10 Blazer Tahoe with a custom-built cedar exterior (yes, that's real wood!) with a working drinky bird in the back. This one-of-a-kind car is a standout when our El Katif Shriners use it in parades! 🥰
