Dr. Ali Bonnici earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of San Francisco and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos. A Bay Area native, she has a strong passion for womenโs health, with a particular interest in womenโs sports and pelvic health rehabilitation.
With a background in cross country, track and field, and outrigger canoeing, Dr. Bonnici understands the physical demands of sport and the importance of efficient, pain-free movement. Her clinical approach integrates manual therapy, functional strength training, and patient education to address the root causes of pain and optimize performance. She works closely with each individual to develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that support both recovery and long-term injury prevention.
Dr. Bonnici holds certifications in concussion training and emergency medical response for both on-field and off-field injury assessment, allowing her to provide comprehensive care across a variety of patient populations. She is committed to a collaborative treatment model, empowering patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation while equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed for lasting success.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bonnici enjoys surfing, practicing Pilates, and weight training, with the occasional run. She is dedicated to helping individuals achieve pain-free movement so they can confidently return to the activities they love with improved performance and long-term independence.
