🌊Soul Tide Spotlight:

Please help me welcome Blanca Iniguez Valdivia, Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker, ASW 119060. Supervised by Dr. Trevor Olson, PsyD, PSY28474. Blanca will be working within our partnered care communities, (while under direct supervision) collaborating closely with residents and interdisciplinary teams to provide compassionate, consistent behavioral health support.

Hello, my name is Blanca, a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Boston University.

Under direct supervision, my style is warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I strive to meet you where you are, recognizing that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to support you, help you explore what may be getting in the way, and guide you toward living your fullest potential.

While working under my supervisor, I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you can heal, process past experiences, and work toward your goals. I honor your pace and will work collaboratively with you to ensure you feel heard, respected, and understood.

Under direct supervision, I tailor my approach based on your unique needs and goals. Whether you are looking to build coping skills for anxiety and depression or process past experiences and inner child work, we will find what works best for you.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, suicidality, and other mental health concerns. Under direct supervision, I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I also emphasize grounding and regulation skills to help calm the mind and body during times of distress.

As a first-generation Latina, I also offer services (under direct supervision) in Spanish for clients who prefer it. Como Latina de primera generación, también ofrezco servicios en español para quienes lo prefieran.

Welcome Maren to our Soul Tide Therapy Team! She will be accepting new patients via Telehealth and in person at our Carlsbad Office!

Maren Gregg, APCC 21533
Supervised by Dr. Trevor Olson, PSY28474

Maren is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) in California. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Alliant International University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama. Maren believes therapy is most effective when it is a collaborative and thoughtful process, grounded in compassion and care.

Maren supports adults navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, relationship concerns, and questions around identity or direction. Her approach focuses on helping clients explore their experiences and reflect on their patterns while developing helpful strategies to navigate challenges. Throughout the process, she remains curious about each client’s perspective and works to create a safe, supportive space for understanding and growth.

During her clinical training, Maren provided individual therapy, facilitated mental health groups, and received training in neurofeedback, which informed her understanding of the mind–body connection. She has experience working in outpatient, residential, and inpatient settings, supporting adults with a range of mental health challenges.

Maren is committed to providing trauma-informed, individualized care that honors each client’s unique needs and values. She receives regular clinical supervision and engages in ongoing professional development to ensure her work remains ethical, evidence-based, and thoughtfully tailored.

✨ WE’RE HIRING — AND GROWING FAST ✨

As we move into 2026, I’m incredibly proud (and honestly humbled) to share that Soul Tide Psychotherapy is expanding due to significant growth, increasing referrals, and strong projections for the year ahead. What started as a vision rooted in compassionate, integrated care has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined — and now, we’re building our next chapter.

We are currently seeking:

• Integrated healthcare partnerships
• Ethical, evidence-based practice
• Real opportunity for professional growth and longevity

Whether you’re a licensed clinician looking for a practice that values autonomy and teamwork, or an associate therapist seeking meaningful hours, high-quality supervision, and long-term growth — we would love to connect.

If this opportunity resonates with you — or if you know someone who would be an amazing fit — please share this post or reach out directly. Referrals from this community mean more than you know.
