🌊Soul Tide Spotlight:

Please help me welcome Blanca Iniguez Valdivia, Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker, ASW 119060. Supervised by Dr. Trevor Olson, PsyD, PSY28474. Blanca will be working within our partnered care communities, (while under direct supervision) collaborating closely with residents and interdisciplinary teams to provide compassionate, consistent behavioral health support.

Hello, my name is Blanca, a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Boston University.

Under direct supervision, my style is warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I strive to meet you where you are, recognizing that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to support you, help you explore what may be getting in the way, and guide you toward living your fullest potential.

While working under my supervisor, I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you can heal, process past experiences, and work toward your goals. I honor your pace and will work collaboratively with you to ensure you feel heard, respected, and understood.

Under direct supervision, I tailor my approach based on your unique needs and goals. Whether you are looking to build coping skills for anxiety and depression or process past experiences and inner child work, we will find what works best for you.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, suicidality, and other mental health concerns. Under direct supervision, I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I also emphasize grounding and regulation skills to help calm the mind and body during times of distress.

As a first-generation Latina, I also offer services (under direct supervision) in Spanish for clients who prefer it. Como Latina de primera generación, también ofrezco servicios en español para quienes lo prefieran.

🌊Soul Tide Team Feature:

We are excited to welcome Dr. Stephanie Cox as our new Office Administrator!

Stephanie joins us after a remarkable 25-year career in law enforcement and public administration, including 14 years as a Jail Administrator for the Chula Vista Police Department. She is also a passionate lifelong learner who recently earned her PsyD from the University of Arizona and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work. When she’s not working or hitting the books, Stephanie is a proud mom of two, a Disney enthusiast, a foodie, and a collector of books.

Stephanie has already made such a meaningful impact on our team in such a short amount of time. Her warmth, leadership, organization, and calm presence have been felt by everyone around her. We are honored to have her work alongside us and help us grow.
