May is Mental Health Awareness Month đź’™

Small, steady shifts can make a meaningful difference over time—especially the ones that support your nervous system.

Start with your body.
Choose connection.
Give yourself permission to pause.

You don’t have to do everything—just something gentle, something consistent, something that meets you where you are.

What’s one small way you’re supporting yourself this week?

Want to build your child’s social skills without it feeling like “work”? Start with play 👇

✨ Turn-taking games → patience + flexibility
🎭 Emotion charades → emotional awareness + expression
🧱 Cooperative building → teamwork + problem-solving
🎬 Role play → perspective-taking + communication

These simple activities create powerful opportunities for connection, confidence, and growth.

Which one are you trying first?

Connection regulates faster than correction 🤍

The holidays can hold more than one feeling at a time.

Joy and grief often sit side by side — and that’s okay. You may feel moments of connection and celebration, while also noticing sadness, longing, or reminders of what’s changed. None of these feelings cancel the others out.

Holding space for both is an act of self-compassion. You don’t have to force cheer, rush healing, or explain your experience to anyone. There is room for your full emotional landscape this season.

Be gentle with yourself. However this season feels is valid. 🤍
