Our Respiratory Therapists, Lisa and Jeanie, opened their department to fellow Chadron Hospital staff today to celebrate Respiratory Care Week!

With some delicious treats and an opportunity to learn more about respiratory therapy, staff were invited to stop by, ask questions, and get a closer look at the important work these two do every day.

From helping stabilize patients in emergencies to providing respiratory treatments and diagnostic testing, Lisa and Jeanie play a vital role in caring for our patients. They also serve as valuable resources for our entire healthcare team, often working behind the scenes and answering the call when they’re needed most.

We’re grateful for their dedication, expertise, and willingness to share their knowledge with their coworkers.

Happy Respiratory Care Week, Lisa and Jeanie! Thank you for helping our patients breathe a little easier, one breath at a time. 💜

⛳ A HOLE-IN-ONE FOR OUR COMMUNITY! $18,860 RAISED! 💙💚

What happens when an incredible community comes together for a great cause? Something truly extraordinary!

Chadron Hospital's 1st Annual Golf Tournament was a tremendous success, raising $18,860 to support lifesaving emergency medical equipment for our ambulance services!

These funds will help purchase a LUCAS Chest Compression System and LIFEPAK monitor, giving our emergency responders critical tools to provide lifesaving care when every second counts.

Together, our mammography technologists bring an incredible 88 years of experience to our patients:

Jodi – 38 years

Jessica – 24 years

Kerri – 24 years

Sara – 2 years

Our breast ultrasonographer, Kresi, brings an additional 23 years of experience to our team.

In 2025, our team performed 892 mammograms, helping women in our community. These screenings led to the diagnosis of 8 women with breast cancer, allowing them to begin the care and treatment they needed.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are especially grateful for the expertise, compassion, and dedication this team brings to their work every day. Their commitment can make a life changing difference for our patients and their families.

Thank you, Jodi, Jessica, Kerri, Sara, and Kresi, for the difference you make!

Apparently, someone decided Chadron Hospital needed a little more PINK in our lives… and under the cover of darkness, our lawn became the scene of a full-blown FLAMINGO INVASION! 😂💕

That’s right. While the rest of Chadron was minding its business, someone was out here committing acts of flamingo-related mischief on hospital property!

We have questions.

WHO DID THIS?! 👀🦩

As it turns out, these feathered visitors are part of a flamazing fundraiser organized by Chadron High School - Official’s FCCLA chapter, with proceeds benefiting both FCCLA and Chadron Hospital Circle of Light program!

And here’s where things get interesting…

🦩 $20 – Choose the next unsuspecting lawn to be FLOCKED!

🦩 $10 – Request an early migration if these pink beauties have landed at your place!

🦩 3 DAYS – Otherwise, your new feathered lawn ornaments will stick around for three days before migrating to their next destination!

We absolutely LOVE seeing our community come together for a great cause, especially when it involves a little harmless mischief!
