Embrace Health residents took part in a volunteer project supporting Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control (Animal Care & Control) by creating rice packs for animals recovering from surgery. Residents delivered the bags during their monthly ride-around trip, where a volunteer accepted the donation and thanked everyone for their participation. Residents were proud to contribute and are looking forward to future projects!🐾💙

We kicked off Prom Week with a fun and meaningful volunteer project! 🎨✨
Residents and team members painted kindness rocks to share around our community. The goal is to spread joy, encouragement, and provide a nice little surprise for neighbors and visitors across campus.
Each rock is a small reminder that you are seen, valued, and supported. 💛 We hope that whenever you discover one, it brightens your day and reminds you just how loved you are.

Today we wanted to share a phrase that’s become really meaningful around here, something Southminster resident Dave Burns came up with many years ago:

“This ain’t no ordinary place, these ain’t no ordinary jobs, and we ain’t no ordinary people.”

It may sound simple, but it really captures what makes Southminster what it is. Dave is one of many resident volunteers who have worked closely with our team, helping us find ways to make things better for both residents and staff. Through that, he’s gotten an inside look at what our team does behind the scenes, and after years of seeing it firsthand, he’s impressed to say the least.

We’re so thankful for people like Dave who encourage us and remind us why we do what we do. What a blessing it is to serve a community that sees and values all the hard work and caring hands behind it. 💛
