ORA Center

ORA Center ORA Center is the home of Chattanooga Yoga School and Madia’s integrative private practice — a space for yoga, somatic work, and embodied care.

A movement in embodied presence. Yoga Teacher Training
Our curriculum is primarily designed to offer participants a Foundational education that will prepare them for the journey of a yoga student and teacher, private practitioner or mind/body professional. We encourage practicing yogis to attend this training to deepen their understanding of yoga from asana to pranayama to Samadhi. The Chattanooga Yoga School is led by dedicated and attentive full-time yoga professionals who will prepare you to enter a studio classroom with confidence. Our practicum is like no other. Upon graduation, you will have sequenced and taught multiple hour-long yoga classes. If your goal is simply to deepen your practice, we will offer an advanced curriculum without the pressure to instruct classes. Students will practice a spectrum of asana classes and learn the philosophical foundations of this amazing mind/body medium. Every participant will leave with a comprehensive plan for success, including extensive study of nutrition, lifestyle and business. Our goal is to offer an experience that exceeds our students’ expectations. We are proud to bring you an integrative curriculum that surpasses the standards for Yoga Alliance Registration.

What if the body could become part of the conversation—not something we work around?

Somatic work invites us to pay attention to sensation, movement, breath, patterns, and the ways our lived experiences show up in the body.

For practitioners, this can open new possibilities for how we listen, connect, and support the people we work with.

Our Somatic Practitioner Certification launches this October.

If you’re ready to deepen your practice and explore a body-based approach to your work, watch for enrollment details coming soon. 🌿
