You have two eyes 👀 and one brain 🧠 Visual processing can get overwhelmed when conflicting visual images are being sent to the brain. Our eyes work effectively to help us see, but our brain must be able to interpret that information and act upon it.
When a poor visual system is overloaded, it can look like poor reading comprehension, headaches, light sensitivity, motion sickness, blurred vision, eye strain, and so much more. Vision therapy is a non surgical approach to build the eye and brain communication for a better quality of life.

Take a listen to Brayden share how Vision Therapy at Navigation Eye Care has helped him in school, sports, and his vision.
Brayden is one of our recent vision therapy graduates. He completed the program designed for him. Activities focused on rebuilding the pathways between his eye with poorer eyesight (amblyopia) and his brain. Then strengthening the foundations of vision for him. His story is such a success! It has been such a joy seeing him each week in his vision therapy journey.

Congratulations Everett!! 🎓

This little guy did so well in Vision therapy! He made huge progress in improving his vision. In the beginning of VT, one eye would tend to be not working with the other, a term called strabismus. Surgery is not always necessary for strabismus. Vision therapy can many times be a successful treatment for binocular vision, where both eyes work together as a team.
We are so proud of you buddy!!
