On Friday of National Skilled Nursing Care Week, we showed our appreciation for sports and screamed for ice cream! ⚾

Thirsty Thursday and Twin Day! 🍧

Tropical Sno, who attended our Fall Festival last year, came out once again to quench our thirsts last Thursday! Staff, residents, and family members all got to enjoy their icy sweetness! 😋

Also, a "right place at the right time" happenstance: 4 crews from our local Abbott EMS were fortunate to be scheduled to attend to a few transports at the time of our celebration and got to partake as well. We also asked staff to match for Twin Day! 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️

💐 Last week we celebrated National Skilled Nursing Care Week at The Westchester House. 🌟

It was a fun-filled week of themes, events, and all around a good time! We celebrated the staff, our amazing residents and their family, those who make us "The Westchester House." 🫶

🌸 We starting off with Monday, decided to base the theme around "Moments in Bloom," the National Skilled Nursing Care Week theme this year. We encouraged all to wear their finest florals! Also, our Sales Team, Melissa and Kaylee, dedicated gifts to all the staff to show their appreciation! Stay tuned for more posts showing all the fun that we had! 😍

💐 Each year, we set aside a special week to celebrate our amazing residents and associates and the role that skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities play in senior care.

We care for those who cannot care for themselves. We help rehab patients recover from illness or injury. And we do it all in a series of many moments... ☺️

From assisting a resident with getting dressed in the morning to providing meals, activities, medication administration, help with activities of daily living, and therapy as appropriate, our associates work together to create a full experience of care.
