Andrea Dindinger I help people create beautiful relationships even if you think it's not possible. I won’t eliminate your anxiety: I’ll help you befriend it. The anger.

I won’t cure your depression: I’ll help you discover what it’s teaching. You're not broken.... I’m Andrea Dindinger, LMFT. For 15 years I have specialized in helping people create meaningful, fulfilling intimate relationships. I love working with motivated people who are really ready to see some real change in their lives. Sometimes that means helping couples navigate the rough waters of distance, arguing, or betrayals. Sometimes that means helping individuals figure out who they are, and who they’re looking for, and what they won’t settle for anymore. My parents divorced when I was a teenager, and I went on to experience my own divorce at 32. I had no idea when I was going through all that pain that divorce would come to be my greatest teacher. I can empathize with every part of a relationship on the brink. I’ve been through the fear. The feelings of failure. And...I came out the other side to find love again and create a happy family, so I can also empathize with the hope, the excitement, the near-disbelief that life can come around and reward you with such a gift after you’ve been through so much pain. I’m passionate about connection. And to a person, my clients will tell you that I’m invested and energetic and caring and engaged. I believe that our patterns make sense and have wisdom in them. I love helping people bring the unconscious to light, and helping them learn to be guided by a deep, heartfelt wisdom inside. If you’re ready to do the work, call me. If you want to to figure out why love hasn’t worked out for you, or what you should do next in your relationship, or how to get past that deep down fear that you are marked and marred and unworthy, call me.

When I was so anxious about my then-boyfriend (now husband of 18 years) that I was cleaning his house while he was at therapy, I did something that changed everything.

I put on music and I danced. In a ski hat, tall socks, a scarf, and one of his shirts. A full lunatic. And when he walked in and saw me? I think that was the moment he fell in love with me.

Because I wasn't carrying my anxiety anymore. I was just me.

You can try all the meditating and journaling in the world, but there's nothing like getting in your body and letting out the feelings to truly bring you back to yourself.

Let me know if you try it out! Especially if you're in that place in your relationship where you are questioning things and are spending too much time in your head!

When she's venting, she doesn't need you to remind her of everything she has. She needs you to say: "Oh, sweetheart, you're scared. Come here. Tell me about it."

She wants you to receive her garbage and just hold it with her. That's it.

Swipe for exactly what to say.

Here's something that surprised a lot of my clients: the happiest couples aren't the ones who never argue.

The research from Gottman shows the strongest relationships stack up about 20 positive moments for every hard one in everyday life. It's not about cutting out conflict. It's about building up so much warmth in between that a fight doesn't knock the whole thing over.

The good news is those moments are small and doable. A real hug. A thank you. A dance break in the kitchen. A text in the middle of the day.

If you want help building the habit, I have a free 21-day series that gives you and your partner one small thing to try each day.

The fastest way to stay stuck on someone? Not knowing what you actually want.

I got to weigh in for this week on how to get over a crush, and the tool I shared is one I give my clients all the time: make a list of everything that drew you to them.

Once you can name the traits you're actually drawn to, you stop fixating on one specific person and start recognizing what you're really looking for. Like I told them, if you don't know what you're looking for, you're never going to find it.

Thank you to and and the team at Cosmopolitan for having me

My therapist brain is obsessed with breaking unconscious generational patterns. But after 27 years of yoga, I’m building one pattern on purpose. Conscious inheritance looks like my daughter on her own mat next to mine. These photos are of us, after her first class. 🥰

She was incredible - her spine, holy bendy!?! One proud sweaty momma here. There’s nothing better than a hot, sweaty yoga class to focus a scattered mind. Grateful to be giving her this practice.

Thank you, Jamie, for teaching Livi her first class. You never forget your first teacher or class in that 105 F heat. Livi Sangha Hot Yoga Studio
