🎉 Celebrating Our Incredible P.A.C.E. Interns! 🎉 Please join us in congratulating our PACE interns, Guadalupe and Lucas, on successfully completing their one-year internship program with Volunteer Services! 👏💙 Guadalupe spent the year supporting children in our outpatient pediatrics departments, bringing comfort, smiles, coloring activities, and positive distractions to young patients while they waited for their appointments. And Lucas served as a welcoming greeter and wayfinder volunteer, helping patients, visitors, and staff navigate the hospital while making everyone feel valued and welcomed. We are so grateful for the dedication, kindness, and positive energy both of you brought to UI Health. Your contributions made a meaningful difference, and we wish you continued success in all your future endeavors. And of course, we must give a very special shoutout to Plaksha! ✨ Plaksha has been one of the longest-running interns in our program’s history and an extraordinary member of our team. She has contributed over 2,000 volunteer hours, completed our CNA Program, volunteered in the NICU, and played a tremendous role in supporting and strengthening our intern program. Her dedication, leadership, compassion, and commitment to service have left a lasting impact on countless patients, families, volunteers, and staff members. We are incredibly thankful for everything she has done and will miss her dearly. Thank you, Plaksha, for your years of service, friendship, and unwavering commitment.
