👁️✨ Vision Rehabilitation Week | June 8–14 ✨👁️

Vision loss doesn’t have to mean losing your independence.

This Vision Rehabilitation Week, we’re raising awareness about the life changing resources available for people living with blindness and low vision. From reading and cooking to navigating daily life, vision rehabilitation provides the tools and training that help people stay confident, safe, and connected.

💙 Did you know?
• Nearly 20 million Americans live with blindness or visual impairment.
• Vision rehabilitation can improve independence, reduce isolation, and support better mental health.
• Yet less than 5% of people who could benefit from these services actually receive them.

Even when medical treatments or new glasses can no longer improve vision, there is still hope. Vision rehabilitation can help individuals with cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and many other eye conditions continue doing the things they love.

At Halsted Eye Boutique, we believe eye care is about more than seeing clearly. It’s about living fully. If you or someone you love is experiencing vision loss, talk to our team about available resources and next steps.

Together, let’s spread awareness and empower more people to live independently. 🌟
