• National Do Something Nice Day •

A perfect opportunity to pause, look around, and find a way to brighten someone else’s day. It is a beautiful reminder that kindness can bring comfort, hope, and connection, especially when someone is going through a difficult time.

For those experiencing grief, or having a tough day, a simple act of kindness can mean more than we realize. A hug, a phone call, a listening ear, a shared memory, a meal left at the door, a cup of coffee, or simply sitting beside someone can remind them that they are loved and supported.

At our funeral home, we have the privilege of witnessing the profound difference compassion can make during some of life’s fragile moments.

Today, we encourage you to reach out, lend a hand, share a kind word or token, or simply let someone know you’re thinking of them. Sometimes, the smallest gesture can bring the greatest comfort.

May we never underestimate the power of kindness, and may we carry it with us long after today.

October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month.

A time to specifically remember and acknowledge the babies who were loved deeply, the families who continue to carry that love, and the grief that can linger in ways others may never see.

There is no right way to remember, and no amount of time that makes a loved and wanted baby matter less.

Please be gentle. You never know whose heart is remembering a little life they would have given anything to keep.
