Like so much of the world, we’re holding Dolly Parton close today. 💛

Beyond the rhinestones and the songs we’ll never stop singing, Dolly modeled something quieter and just as lasting: a way of moving through hard times with honesty, humor, and hope.

She spoke openly about having to stay “wary” of depression. She let hardship deepen her rather than break her — “storms make trees take deeper roots.” She chose optimism on purpose, met pain with a wink, and gave from the heart until the very end.
