Today, the Spud Club had a SPOOOKY guest peeler, Pete the Peeler. He's the fastest and scariest potato peeler in town!

Last Friday we celebrated the Independent Living residents who have lived at the Chippewa Manor apartments for 5 or more years, with an Anniversary Dinner. Those who reached the 5 years mark this year were the honorees. Each honoree received a golden house door plaque with their name, their apartment number, and the year they moved in. All attendees enjoyed either prime rib or stuffed chicken breast and side dishes. Grasshopper drinks followed for dessert.

Sugar John gave us one final rain amount update before putting the rain gauge away for the winter. Yesterday we received 1 1/4" of rain! We'll see what the spring brings!

Today's theme for Freaky Friday is to wear a witch hat! Here at Chippewa Manor, we have a Coffee Club Coven. We're as sweet as the sugar in the coffee! ☕️ 🎃 And we can't forget our warlock, Sugar John. He's part of the Maple Syrup Coven! 🍁

This afternoon's BINGO was a little SPOOKY-O! The residents enjoyed SCREAMSICLES for their treat. Orange soda and vanilla ice cream, with a splash of scream! 🫨 🎃

This afternoon some of the RL residents took a trip to Connell's Family Orchard for some apple pie and ice cream and goodies from around the store. We also enjoyed lunch at the SandBar and Grill!! Everything was delicious! Thank you to both establishments for being so accommodating!!
