“Just trust your heart.”
It sounds comforting…
Until you realize Scripture never tells us to do that.
Our thoughts, emotions, and desires are real, but they’re not always reliable. Left unchecked, our minds can convince us that wrong is right, fear is wisdom, or feelings are truth.
So if we can’t always trust our own thinking… what can we trust?
