✨ Exciting things are happening at Trio Counseling! ✨

We are proud to welcome Tracy Swafford, M.Ed. to our Trio Counseling family!

Beginning August 12, 2026, Tracy will be available for ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments at our office!

Tracy earned her Masters of Education degree from Delta State University and began her career practicing psychometry at Region I Mental Health Center in Clarksdale. Since 2019, she has owned and operated Swafford Testing Services, LLC, where she has provided comprehensive psychometric evaluations for children and adults ages 2½ through 99.

Tracy offers evaluations for:�• ADHD�• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)�• Intellectual Disabilities�• Dyslexia

She also conducts psychometric evaluations for Early Intervention and Disability Determination Services.

We are excited to expand our services and continue providing comprehensive, compassionate care to our community.

Five years ago, Sarah and I stepped out in faith and opened our private practices with the goals of being able to provide a variety of mental health services to our community, and to one day purchase our very own building. Today,we made our goal a reality with the purchase of our new building for Trio Counseling!

Thank you to everyone who has supported, trusted, and encouraged us along the way. We can't wait to see what this next chapter holds! 💚🦋

On May 15, we celebrate Mental Health Action Day! Today is the perfect day to be bold for mental health awareness! Wear green, share your story with someone, check on a friend or family member. Take action and let’s break the stigma surrounding mental health!

🚨May 15 is also Peace Officer Remembrance Day. 👮🏽‍♂️🚓👮🏻‍♂️👮🏼‍♀️

Law enforcement officers witness a hundreds of traumatic events more than most occupations.

Due to this, law enforcement officers are at a high risk for depression and su***de. Law enforcement officers are more likely to die by su***de than to be killed in the line of duty.

Despite this occupational crisis, over 50% of officers report still a significant stigma surrounding seeking mental health services.

In 2025, 111 officers reportedly died by su***de. That averages about 9 a month who lost their battle with depression.

Today we remember all the officers who have lost their lives to su***de and the officers who were killed in the line of duty.
