Please join us in welcoming Dr. Iliet Payan to Sampson Women's Center!

Dr. Payan is now seeing patients and is excited to provide compassionate, comprehensive care for women throughout our community. Having completed her residency at Sampson Regional Medical Center, she is returning to serve the rural community she knows and loves.

β€œI completed my residency at Sampson Regional Medical Center and was drawn back because of the opportunity to care for a rural community and provide the quality healthcare patients need and deserve,” said Dr. Payan. β€œI chose family medicine obstetrics because it allows me to care for the entire family throughout different stages of life and build lasting relationships with my patients.”

Dr. Payan is passionate about empowering women to take an active role in their healthcare and ensuring they feel heard throughout their care journey.

β€œAs a female, I think it’s important to let women know that their concerns are valid and allow them to feel heard,” Dr. Payan said. β€œI want them to feel involved in the decision-making process and have a voice.”

From routine gynecological care and preventive services to prenatal care and obstetrics, Dr. Payan is dedicated to helping women receive the personalized care they need close to home.

πŸ’™ Now accepting new patients!
