We don't usually ask for help, but our little 1999 Lexus is currently getting some major repairs, and we are reaching out to our community for support.
This isn't simply a vehicle we use for transportation; it's how we help our clients stay connected to their community and experience the things that teach them and bring joy to their lives. Whether it's going shopping, volunteering, or enjoying an activity, these outings make a real difference in their lives.
A huge thank you to Parker Toyota! Our Board member, Tim Storms and Coty C. the Service Manager, blessed us by saving over $400.00 from a previous bid we secured to repair the vehicle. Thank you gentlemen! We had to repair leaky gaskets, the timing belt, the water pump and spark plugs as well as replace valve cover gaskets. That was all completed at Parker Toyota for $1880.90. Remember that $400 they saved us; well... that went back to replace a coil. We are asking our community to help us, if at all possible, with repairs totaling $2,300.00 to get the vehicle running safely so that we can get the car back on the road and our clients back into the community.
