If you’ve tried chiropractic before and thought, “There has to be a more thorough approach…” — there is.
At Powers Chiropractic, we specialize in the Gonstead System, one of the most specific and detailed approaches in chiropractic.
Before deciding where, when, and how to adjust, we use 5 different components of analysis 👇
👀 1. VISUALIZATION
We’re watching from the moment you walk in. Your gait, posture, muscle tension, and even changes in the skin can give us clues about what’s happening with your spine.
🌡️ 2. INSTRUMENTATION
We use a Nervoscope or Delta-T instrument to scan your spine for differences in temperature from side to side. It gives us objective information at every visit to help identify areas that need a closer look.
✋ 3. STATIC PALPATION
With your spine at rest, we carefully feel for changes in tenderness, muscle tension, swelling, and tissue texture around individual vertebrae.
🦴 4. MOTION PALPATION
Then we check how your spine actually moves. We’re looking for joints that are restricted or simply aren’t moving the way they should.
🩻 5. X-RAY ANALYSIS
When appropriate, full-spine X-rays allow us to evaluate the structure of your spine, joint and disc integrity, misalignments, posture, and the direction a vertebra has shifted.
Why go through all five?
Because your adjustment shouldn’t be based on a guess.
🎯 Find the problem.
🎯 Understand the problem.
