Are we seeing the child… or just the label?

More than 40% of school-aged children and adolescents in the U.S. have at least one chronic health condition. That can include physical conditions, asthma, obesity, and behavioral or learning challenges.

And the reality is that many children are navigating more than one challenge at a time.
ADHD
Autism
Sensory differences
Digestive or allergy concerns
Anxiety and emotional challenges

These labels can be important. They can help families understand what their child is experiencing and connect them with appropriate resources and support. But a diagnosis should never become the end of the conversation.

At Freedom Chiropractic, we believe children deserve to be looked at as a whole person—not simply as a diagnosis.

That's why our approach includes taking a deeper dive at the stressors during pregnancy, labor and delivery, your child's history, neurological function, and patterns of stress and adaptation. Our INSiGHT scans can provide additional information about neurological stress and patterns.

Back-to-school shouldn't have to mean stomachaches, sleepless nights, and constant worry. ♥️

If your child is struggling with anxiety, their nervous system may be stuck in stress mode. When the brain and body are locked in fight-or-flight, it can feel impossible for a child to simply "calm down."

The worry keeps racing. The meltdowns happen faster. Even something as routine as getting ready for school can feel overwhelming. 😭
That's why reassurance and deep breaths don't always solve the problem. Your child may need help getting their nervous system out of survival mode and back into a place where they can adapt, regulate, and thrive. 🧠
