How you start your morning can influence the rest of your day.

You don't need a perfect routine.

Even five quiet minutes to breathe, stretch, journal or enjoy your coffee without distractions can help set a positive tone.

Small habits create lasting change.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to participate in a Franklin County Su***de Prevention Coalition volunteer event.

It was a meaningful afternoon creating handwritten postcards with messages of encouragement, hope, resilience, and belonging for members of our community.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to come together with community partners and contribute to an effort centered on connection, compassion, and reminding people that they are not alone.

Thank you to the Franklin County Su***de Prevention Coalition and everyone who helped make this event possible.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to attend Hope Starts Here: An Evening with Kevin Hines, hosted by our sister facility, Highland Springs

As we recognize September as Su***de Prevention Month, it was an impactful evening centered around hope, connection, and the importance of continuing to have open conversations about mental health and su***de prevention. Kevin’s story and message were a powerful reminder of the difference compassion, connection, and simply being willing to have a conversation can make in someone’s life.

We are also grateful for the opportunity to connect with behavioral health professionals and community organizations who share our commitment to supporting individuals and families across Ohio.

Thank you to the Highland Springs team for hosting such a meaningful event and bringing our behavioral health community together.

Checking in with yourself is just as important as checking in with others.

Take a moment today to ask yourself:
• How am I really feeling?
• What do I need today?
• What can I do to support my mental health?

Small moments of self-awareness can make a big difference.
