Nurture Acupuncture

Nurture Acupuncture Specialty acupuncture: fertility, pain management, women's health, and general wellness. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine practices. Concord & Bolton, MA.

Founded by Libby Horesh, ABORM-certified. At Nurture, we provide whole-health care for the entire family, and specialize in fertility and reproductive medicine. As one of only three acupuncturists who are Board Certified in Oriental Reproductive Medicine in Massachusetts, we are uniquely positioned to truly integrate research-based traditional Chinese medical therapies with standard Western medica

l care. Some of the therapies we utilize include acupuncture, herbal medicine, traditional diet consultations, and mind-body techniques. We continue to have wonderful results treating patients exclusively with Chinese medicine, but we believe that in many cases, the ideal approach for our patients is a combination of the best of what both Eastern and Western medicine have to offer.

June is Men's Health Month and we want to talk about something that doesn't get enough attention.

Male factor infertility accounts for 40% of cases in couples struggling to conceive. And s***m health responds directly to stress, sleep, lifestyle, and overall wellness, things acupuncture directly supports.

Beyond fertility, we regularly treat men for:
→ Chronic pain + sports injuries
→ Stress + sleep issues
→ Digestive health
→ Overall wellness

Men's health isn't just about reacting once symptoms get severe. It's about supporting your body before burnout becomes your baseline.

We're here when you're ready.

If you're preparing for IVF, or already mid-cycle, here's what the research says about acupuncture as part of your support plan.

Research suggests acupuncture may help IVF patients by:
→ Reducing stress + regulating the nervous system
→ Increasing blood flow to the uterus
→ Supporting the body before and after embryo transfer
→ Improving overall hormonal balance during stimulation

At Nurture, we time acupuncture sessions to work with your IVF cycle, not around it. Our approach is informed by our founder's ABORM fellowship in reproductive acupuncture, one of the most advanced certifications available in this field.

Fertility care should support your mental and emotional health too... not just your protocol.

Meet Libby Horesh: founder of Nurture Whole Health and ABORM-certified fertility specialist.

Libby is one of only a handful of Fellows of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine in Massachusetts, a certification that reflects her deep expertise in reproductive acupuncture, IVF support, and women's health.

Her approach is rooted in listening deeply, treating the whole body, and creating care that feels personal, especially for patients navigating fertility, hormones, stress, pregnancy, and postpartum healing.

She combines evidence-informed Chinese medicine with compassionate, individualized treatment: because every patient's journey deserves that level of attention.

Libby founded Nurture Acupuncture in 2014. She's been doing this work ever since because she believes patients deserve a practitioner who truly listens.

Let's show her some love ✨.

On the menu tonight…asparagus and fiddleheads!

🌱 Asparagus & Fiddleheads Through the Lens of Chinese Medicine 🌱

Asparagus is considered cooling and nourishing. It helps clear heat, supports Yin and body fluids, and may be especially beneficial during warmer weather when dryness and internal heat become more common.

Fiddleheads are the young curled shoots of certain ferns, and are associated with spring's upward, renewing energy. In TCM, spring is linked to the Liver system, a time for movement, growth, and cleansing. Fiddleheads support the body's natural transition from winter to spring.

Fresh foods harvested locally at their peak often provide exactly what our bodies need during this time of year 💕

Fertility journeys are often overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting and many patients are looking for whole-body support alongside their medical treatment.

Research continues to show promising benefits of acupuncture as part of fertility care, particularly around stress regulation, circulation, hormonal balance, and uterine blood flow.

At Nurture, our fertility work and team is led by Elisabeth Horesh, one of only a handful of ABORM Fellows in Massachusetts: a board certification specifically in reproductive acupuncture.

We work with patients at every stage: natural conception, IUI, IVF, and everything in between. Every treatment plan is personalized to where you are in your journey.

What would a moment of calm do for you this week? Share it with us in the comments.

For a lot of our patients, treatment time becomes more than care, it becomes the one hour where everything else pauses.

Whether you're navigating IVF, hormone imbalances, chronic stress, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or pain... we want every visit to feel like real support. Not rushed. Not dismissive. Genuinely supportive.

This is acupuncture for real life.
