Do you love horses, enjoy working with children, and want to make a real difference in your community?
HorsePlay is looking for a part-time Equine Care & Therapy Support Assistant to join our nonprofit team!
In this role, you’ll help:
🐎 Care for our therapy horses (feeding, grooming, tacking up, and general horse care)
🐎 Handle horses during hippotherapy sessions
🐎 Exercise and condition our therapy horses
🐎 Assist with maintaining a safe, positive environment for children with special needs and their families
🐎 Support our therapists and volunteers as needed
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience handling horses confidently and safely
• Is dependable, hardworking, and compassionate
• Enjoys working with children, especially those with special needs
• Is willing to learn and be part of a team dedicated to changing lives through the healing power of horses
This is a part-time position with flexible hours that vary based on our therapy schedule and horse care needs.
