Twisted my ankle over the weekend... on the same side I've injured before. 😅

Before heading to the gym today, I decided to do a little scraping at home to see if I could calm things down and move more comfortably.

You don't always need fancy tools, either; a spoon works surprisingly well!

One thing I see often in the clinic is people waiting until they're completely exhausted before taking care of themselves.

But your body usually gives you subtle signals long before burnout shows up.

Sometimes rest doesn't have to be earned; it's okay to slow down simply because you need it.

A common question I get asked is: "Are those bruises?"

And the answer is not quite. Cupping marks are a normal response to treatment and typically fade within a few days.

The goal isn't the marks, it's helping the body release tension and restore balance.

My self-treatment adventures continue!

Did a little cupping session between patients because practitioners need care too ☺️

A little cosmetic acupuncture moment from the clinic today. ✨

I love this treatment because it focuses on supporting skin health from the inside out while also giving my patients a chance to slow down and relax.

The question I get asked most often: "Is acupuncture going to hurt?"

The short answer is no. Most first-time patients are surprised by how little they actually feel, and one of the most common responses I hear after the first few needles is: "Oh... that's it?"

It’s easy to ignore the signals when life gets busy, but your body keeps track of it all.

Tension, fatigue, and feeling overwhelmed are often signs that your system needs a reset.

Taking time to slow down and support your body can help you feel more grounded, clear, and at ease.

If you’re needing deeper support, acupuncture can be a gentle way to help your body reset and restore balance.
