Bill and Sarah Altland opened Whale Tail Pharmacy in 2001 and made it a priority to serve the community through excellent customer service, love and integrity. The new owners, Julie and Kevin McDonald, along with their children, Tate (3) and Payton (6 months), are excited to start this new adventure as a family. Julie received her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2008 and has worked at Whale Tail Pharmacy since 2010. In 2013, Julie received the Alaska Pharmacists Association's Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award. You can expect to see all the familiar smiling faces at Whale Tail Pharmacy as we strive to serve the community with the same excellent customer service provided to you for the last 14 years!
