✨ A Dream Made Possible by God ✨

Owning my own clinic has always been a dream of mine.. one that, if I’m being honest, I wasn’t sure would ever become a reality.

The journey to opening Empowered Speech Therapy has been filled with challenges, growth, faith, and more lessons than I can count. There were seasons that were difficult and uncertain, but looking back now, I can see how God was using each one to shape me, prepare me, and guide me toward the purpose He had for my life.

Even now, I continue to seek His wisdom and direction every step of the way. But I know this: if He has brought me this far, He will continue to be faithful in the journey ahead.

My prayer for Empowered Speech Therapy is that it will be more than just a clinic. I want it to be a place where children and families feel welcomed, supported, encouraged, and empowered. A safe haven where they can receive the speech and occupational therapy services they need while being surrounded by compassion, understanding, and hope.

I love this community deeply, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve the families who trust us with their care. Every day, I pray for the children who walk through our doors, for their families, and for the lives that God allows us to impact.

Thank you for supporting this dream and this mission. May God continue to guide this clinic, bless the families we serve, and fill these rooms with opportunities to make a difference.

Happy National Speech-Language Pathologist Day! 🗣️💙

Today we celebrate the incredible impact SLPs make every single day by helping individuals communicate, connect, and find confidence in their voice. Being a Speech-Language Pathologist is more than a career to me, it’s a calling.

I became an SLP to empower children and families and to help others find their voice, whether that’s through first words, clearer speech, stronger language skills, or increased confidence in communication. Watching clients grow, celebrate milestones, and gain confidence is truly the most rewarding part of what I do.

Happy Administrative Professionals Day to my favorite “admin” (even though he’s really about 10 roles in one)… my husband, Berto Gonzalez 🤍

Behind Empowered Speech Therapy, he’s the one keeping me sane, helping things run smoothly, and jumping in to do whatever needs to be done… whether that’s fixing something, organizing chaos, or just reminding me to breathe.

He didn’t just support this dream, he helped build it from the ground up. And somehow, he still shows up every day with patience, humor, and a willingness to wear whatever hat I throw his way 😅
