Congratulations to Terri Anderson, RN, on receiving the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses from the DAISY Foundation! 🌼

Terri cared for a patient who arrived for a scheduled procedure after experiencing after experiencing an unexpected fall earlier that morning. As she prepared the patient for testing, Terri carefully assessed their condition, explained what the procedure would involve and recognized that moving forward may not be in the patient's best interest.

"Terri noticed my apprehension and called in the supervising nurse and he immediately said to reschedule, and we did! Terri was so kind, caring, observing, calm, so patient oriented. That is what I needed," said the patient.

By thoughtfully reassessing the situation and involving the supervising nurse, she helped ensure the patient received the care they needed at the right time.

We thank Terri for her compassionate care and dedication to ensuring every patient feels safe, supported, and heard.
