Dr. Bradford Waddell, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship-trained adult reconstruction and joint replacement specialist at Carrell Clinic, performs total knee replacement using the subvastus approach, a minimally invasive, muscle-sparing technique.

Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, brothers Dr. Bradford Waddell and Dr. W. Hunter Waddell now have the unique opportunity to work alongside one another at Carrell Clinic—each bringing specialized expertise to the patients they serve.

Dr. Bradford Waddell is a fellowship-trained adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgeon who specializes in hip and knee joint replacement. He has expertise in anterior and posterior hip replacement, knee replacement, robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement, and complex hip and knee revision surgery.

Dr. W. Hunter Waddell is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon specializing in conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. His expertise includes degenerative spinal conditions, trauma, tumors, and complex revision cases, with an emphasis on individualized care tailored to each patient.

From growing up together in Louisiana to practicing side by side at Carrell Clinic, the Waddell brothers share more than a last name—they share a dedication to helping patients move better, feel better, and get back to the lives they love.
