When a newborn emergency happens in the field, every second counts. That's why the AAP developed Neonatal Education for Prehospital Professionals™ (NEPP™), a new online course designed specifically for EMS clinicians to help build confidence in assessing, resuscitating, and stabilizing newborns during out-of-hospital births and neonatal emergencies.

If you missed the live webinar, the on-demand recording is now available! It provides a closer look at the program, what you'll learn, and how NEPP can help prepare you for those critical moments when neonatal expertise may not be readily available.

Whether you're a new provider or a seasoned clinician, this webinar is a great way to see how NEPP can support your readiness and confidence in the field.

If you are enrolled in the RQI Program, how confident do you feel with preforming CPR?

After just one year in the Resuscitation Quality Improvement® (RQI®) program, providers reported significant improvements in both confidence and perceived CPR skill retention:

◾ Confidence in performing high-quality CPR increased from 60% to 73%
◾ Perception of CPR skill retention increased from 50% to 71% compared to other CPR training methods

These results highlight the impact of continuous practice and assessment, helping clinicians feel more prepared to deliver high-quality CPR when it matters most.

Competence isn't built in a day. It's maintained through intentional practice.

A newly published 2-year evaluation found that nursing students using the Resuscitation Quality Improvement® (RQI®) Program demonstrated significant improvements in both CPR skill retention and confidence, with sustained gains in compression and ventilation performance over time.

The findings reinforce the importance of competency-based, low-dose, high-frequency training supported by real-time feedback.
