We believe confidence and readiness save lives.

This CPR & AED Awareness Week, we’re proud to champion the American Heart Association’s message that the power to save a life is in your hands.

With high-quality, hands-on resuscitation training, healthcare providers can build the confidence to act quickly when every second counts. Whether it’s delivering effective CPR or using an AED, preparedness turns bystanders into lifesavers.

Together, we can strengthen the chain of survival. One skill, one provider, one life at a time. Learn more about how we can help you be best-prepared in critical care situations.

During CPR & AED Awareness Week, we’re reminded that lifesaving action doesn’t always start in the hospital, it starts with people. Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere, and immediate CPR can double or even triple survival rates. Yet many bystanders hesitate, believing only trained professionals should intervene.

This year’s message, “In Your Hands,” reinforces a critical truth:
You don’t have to be a clinician to save a life.

Hands-only CPR is simple, effective, and accessible. As healthcare professionals, you play a vital role, not only in care delivery, but in empowering our communities to act with confidence in emergencies.

Let’s lead by example:

❤️ Refresh your CPR skills
❤️ Encourage workplace preparedness
❤️ Educate patients and families

Together, we can build a stronger Nation of Lifesavers!

🎶 Tuesday Tune

This week’s CPR anthem? ‘Eye of the Tiger’ by Survivor
Coming in hot at 109 bpm, it’s basically the ultimate training montage…and yes, it doubles as the perfect rhythm for chest compressions.

Because nothing says “life-saving hero” like: “It’s the eye of the tiger…”

So next time you’re practicing, channel your inner champion and remember:
Stay strong
Stay steady
Stay on beat

A chain is only as strong as the weakest link.

Just one weak link in the Chain of Survival can dramatically reduce the chance of survival, and survival with positive outcomes. Survival rates from cardiac arrest are low. On average, less than 10% survive. However, in some places, survival rates are almost 30%.

Learn more about the Chain of Survival and how you can implement best practices and programs aimed at strengthening the Chain of Survival.

Hospitals face growing pressure to address concerns such as capacity limitations, workforce shortages, and continuity of care. Many of these challenges extend beyond hospital walls. Community health partnerships may help address these challenges.

When designed with clear goals and strong coordination, partnerships address problems at scale, improving patient outcomes and access to care.

Recently, the American Heart Association held a webinar series that dove into the nuances of AI and its impact in healthcare.

Hear from leaders at Sanford Health, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Mass General Brigham, Sharp HealthCare, and Yale New Haven Health on how artificial intelligence is impacting cardiovascular and stroke care at their health systems, and how hospital systems can pragmatically measure AI’s real-world performance and impact before deployment. Their 3-part webinar series can help you:

Identify high-impact AI use cases
Validate performance across real-world populations
Quantify clinical and economic ROI
Align clinical, operational and financial stakeholders
