Through creative theater games, teamwork, and hands-on activities, kids get to:
• practice expressing themselves in a low-pressure way
• build confidence interacting with peers
• learn simple tools to handle big feelings
• experience success without needing to “perform”

This isn’t about putting kids on stage. It’s about helping them feel more comfortable in their own.

Hot take but liking your room clean is not OCD, it’s your preference -

When I hear “It makes me so anxious when my room is messy” or “I just can’t focus with a disorganized space” I’m thinking you’re a clean person or you like to take care of your things.

Because wanting a clean space is a preference - not OCD.

Now if I’m hearing “I’m convinced that not making my bed means something bad is going to happen to my mom” or “Sometimes when I put my pillows on my bed, I have to do it again and again until it feels just right” then I’m thinking OCD.

There is nothing fun, enjoyable, or jealous-worthy about this disorder - if you like it, it’s simply not OCD!

“Why does my child keep asking the same question?”
“I already reassured them.”

Please join up for a new conjoint teen and parent group centered around values-based framework that helps teens better understand who they are, what matters to them, and how they want to show up in the world.

The teenage years are a time for growth, identity exploration, and life changes. This group is designed to support teens as they discover their values, strengths, and beliefs, while also helping parents better understand their teen’s inner world. Together, teens and parents will practice communicating in ways that build trust and connection.
 
The goal is deeper understanding, mutual respect, and a shared language for navigating the teen years together.
