Mother Geneva Beck, 08/30/1942-07/11/2026 (82) departed this life Saturday, July 11, 2026 at her residence in Danville, VA.
A viewing will begin at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 22, 2026 followed by an 11:00 A.M. Celebration Of Life Service at the Greater Deliverance Temple, 816 Claiborne St., Danville, VA. Apostle Ivory Jenkins, Jr., will deliver the Word of Comfort. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park.
The family is at the residence, 3684 U.S. Hwy.29 N. Danville, VA.

Mr. Renaldo Thompson was born March 15, 1941 in Danville, Virginia to the late Clarence and Reva Thompson. He was the seventh child and spent his childhood in Danville where he was a 1963 graduate of John M. Langston High School. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He departed this life January 7, 2026 at the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, Virginia.
He leaves to cherish his memory 2 loving sisters: Evelyn T. Pendergrass of Danville and Shelia T. Brown(Michael) of Jonesboro, GA., 3 daughters: Angela, Michelle and Shanta, 4 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 26, 2026@ 1:00 P.M. from the chapel of D.L. McLaughlin Funeral Home, 4960 Riverside Dr., Danville, VA.

It’s with heartfelt sorrow we announce the passing of Mr. Perry Lee Evans, 52, Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. He was born in Harrisburg, PA., April 20, 1974 to Janie Mae Evans and Wayne Chaney. He was married to Zabrina Flenoury of the residence.
He was employed by Taco Bell, Riverside Dr. and was loved by all who came in contact with him.
A walk through viewing will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 4:00-5:00P.M. from the D.L. McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
