📅 Program Begins: Tuesday, September 8, 2026
🗓️ Monday–Friday
⏰ 3:30 PM–6:30 PM

Our After School Program provides youth with a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment where they can build confidence, strengthen social-emotional skills, develop healthy coping strategies, receive academic support, and participate in engaging activities—all while connecting with their peers.

And when we say a time was definitely had… A TIME WAS HAD! 😂🎉

Our youth enjoyed an unforgettable day filled with tropical vibes, great food, music, dancing, games, laughter, and plenty of fun! 🌺🍍🥥🎶

At Acumen Therapeutics, we believe wellness is also about creating opportunities for our youth to connect, laugh, build friendships, make memories, and simply enjoy being kids. 💛

The program serves approximately 100 students in a five county area. And the best part, they welcome EVERYONE. This includes complete beginners to advanced string players.

🎉 Acumen Therapeutics Youth Summer Wellness Camp: Weeks 1 & 2 Highlights! 🎉

What an incredible start to our 2026 Youth Summer Wellness Camp! Over the past two weeks, our participants have been actively engaged in a variety of therapeutic and wellness-focused activities designed to support emotional growth, build confidence, and promote positive mental health.

From 🎻 music enrichment and instrument instruction, to 🧘‍♀️ yoga, 🚶 wellness walks, 💪 exercise and movement activities, ⚽ physical fitness, 🏊 swimming, and 🐴 equine-assisted learning experiences, our youth have been learning, growing, and thriving in a supportive and engaging environment.

Acumen Therapeutics After-Camp Activities

⚾💚 A huge thank you to Dayton Dragons, Rob Johnson, and FLOC for providing some of our older campers with the opportunity to enjoy an exciting day at the ballpark!

Experiences like these help our youth build connections, explore new opportunities, and create lasting memories. To make the day even more exciting, the Dayton Dragons brought home a WIN! 🎉🐉⚾

Yesterday, our Founder|CEO Andrea Allen received the 2026 Brandon Sawyer Community Champion Award and it was nothing short of Amazing! Receiving this Community Champion Award is truly an honor, but none of it would be possible without the incredible team at Acumen Therapeutics. Their passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to serving youth and families in our community are what make this work meaningful and impactful. This recognition belongs to all of us, because every program, every conversation, and every life we touch is the result of a team that genuinely cares about creating positive change.
