We were so happy to welcome Visiting Ancillary Services to our community!

Dr. Wood (wearing blue), Linda (wearing maroon), and Nicole (wearing gray and black) brought a beautifully organized and professional setup and, most importantly, provided residents with such a warm and compassionate experience.

We’re excited to welcome them back and look forward to building a wonderful, long-term partnership that brings quality ancillary services right to our community.

We were honored to welcome Council Member Amanda Sandoval, District One to our community! She spent time touring Juniper, meeting residents, learning about our programs, and getting to know more about the incredible people who call our community home.

We had such a wonderful time connecting, sharing ideas, and talking about opportunities to build stronger connections within our local community.

We are incredibly grateful for her time, interest, and genuine passion for the people she serves. We look forward to continuing this new relationship and exploring some exciting opportunities for collaboration in the future!

We’re so excited to launch VivaLife365, our new lifestyle app designed to connect residents, family members, and our team.

Residents and families can download the app today or stop by the community for one-on-one support.

Wellbeing begins with the freedom to make your own choices, shape your own days, and live life on your own terms.

This month, we are thrilled to celebrate a major milestone in supporting that freedom: the launch of VivaLife365℠, the exclusive lifestyle app for Juniper Communities!

Available in the Apple and Google Play stores, VivaLife365℠ is an evolution of our previous Community Portal.

In addition to the app experience, residents can access features hands-free using Amazon Alexa voice controls, making staying connected easier than ever.

Unlike off-the-shelf software, VivaLife365℠ is custom-built for Juniper and designed with residents, families, and team members in mind.

Seamlessly bridging technology and daily life, VivaLife365℠ is a reflection of Juniper's commitment to innovating for the next generation of senior living.

The rights to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” do not expire with age; they are enduring promises, meant to be lived, claimed, and celebrated every stage of the journey.

At Juniper, we don’t just believe in these ideals. We live them every day.

Our July Message of the Month continues our theme of INDEPENDENCE.

What does "independence" mean today?

Too often, we confuse independence with self-sufficiency. We assume that receiving support means surrendering control.

But independence has never been about doing everything alone. It is about having the freedom to make meaningful choices:

Freedom to choose.

Freedom to contribute.

Freedom to connect.

Freedom to continue shaping the course of one's own life.

That distinction matters. The older generation spent decades making decisions, taking risks, building careers, and shaping society. They aren't looking to hand over the reins just because of a number on a calendar. They want what all of us want: the ability to direct their own lives.

The real question we should be asking is not, "How much help does someone need?" It is, "How much control does someone have over their own life?"

When care, services, and technology are thoughtfully integrated, they don't restrict freedom—they expand it by removing obstacles.

We must also reject the false choice between independence and connection. Independence without connection is not freedom. It is isolation.

The ideals that inspired the Declaration of Independence did not come with an expiration date. The right to shape one's own life remains just as important at 85 as it is at 25.

That's why Juniper is committed to empowering true independence for older adults.

The right support doesn't take your independence away. It gives it back.
