Our Circus BBQ on the Pinion Patio was a colorful celebration filled with laughter, music, games, popcorn, and cotton candy! The highlight of the day was watching local Denver business Sisters Sweet Treats spin fresh, made-to-order cotton candy, bringing smiles and a touch of childhood magic to everyone. Stephanie from Sister Sweet Treats shared that she had never seen so many smiles in one place! We are incredibly grateful for this sweet partnership and look forward to making more unforgettable memories together!

The Spearly Center enjoyed a memorable trip to the Buffalo Herd Nature Preserve in Genesee, Colorado. Joined by Ranger Alejandro Sanchez from Denver Mountain Parks, everyone learned about the history, behaviors, and vital role these magnificent animals play in Colorado's natural heritage. A major highlight of the day was spotting 16 baby bison calves out among the herd! It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. Sincere thanks go out to Denver Mountain Parks, Park Ranger Supervisor Ryan Phillian, and Ranger Alejandro Sanchez for making this experience so special.

We gathered for our biannual Memorial Service to honor and remember four cherished individuals who recently passed. Beautifully led by Director of Social Services Margo, the service provided a meaningful opportunity for loved ones, Juniper associates, and friends to reflect and celebrate lives well lived.

We are deeply grateful to our community partners at Perfect Petal Denver for the stunning floral arrangement that added warmth and comfort to the gathering. Picking out these beautiful blooms with the team is always a wonderful experience. The gorgeous arrangement is now on display in the reception area for all visitors to enjoy.

We had a wonderful opportunity to visit Swallow Hill Music in Denver to see a live bluegrass performance from Friendly Reminders.

Founded in 1979, their mission has been to build community through music, performance, education, and outreach. We had an incredible time, and the experience brought us all a real sense of connection.

We are deeply grateful for the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes—and we are especially proud to celebrate and support the veterans who call Juniper home.

On this Memorial Day, we invite our friends and families to join us in reflection and gratitude. Whether through stories shared, flags placed, or quiet moments of remembrance, let us never forget the cost of freedom.
