A therapist’s calm and grounded nervous system can help another person’s nervous system begin to settle. This process is called co-regulation.

AI can imitate the language of care and empathy, but cannot help you co-regulate because co-regulation is not informational — it is the physiological signal transfer between two *living* systems.

You do not need to provide information to your therapist that may be hard to access in a heightened emotional state - they will sense it and help calm you in the moment through human things like tone of voice, facial expressions, pacing, breathing, posture, warmth, and emotional presence.

Chatbots cannot replace real human-to-human connection. It is *artificial.*

Therapy is more than advice, coping skills, or supportive language. Healing often happens through co-regulation, emotional attunement, relational repair, and genuine human presence — all of which require a living nervous system, not just programmed responses.

We're going to be making a series of posts exploring this more deeply — follow along or check back for future posts!

You've probably heard the phrase "sit with your feelings" before - but what does that even mean? Here's a quick (and cute) guide that can help!

🪑First, truly SIT down somewhere (if you can) and bring your focus inward.
🪑Then, IDENTIFY the emotion and just let it exist - don't label it as "good" or "bad." Simply let yourself feel it.
🪑Then, VALIDATE the way you would a friend. Remind yourself that the emotion makes sense and you're okay to be feeling it
🪑TUNE INTO THE BODY! Where is this emotion living? what does it feel like?
🪑Then REFLECT! What else within yourself impacted this?
🪑 Use SELF COMPASSION to meet that need.
🪑Come back to the present.

You don’t have to carry it all on your own.

Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, or relationship challenges, it can feel heavy, confusing, and isolating at times. And even if you’ve learned how to “push through,” that doesn’t mean you have to keep doing it alone.

Jamie has current openings and offers a supportive, grounded space to help you process what you’ve been through, better understand your patterns, and move toward feeling more connected—to yourself and to others.

She offers both talk therapy and EMDR, depending on what feels like the right fit for you.

Healing doesn’t have to be rushed. But you don’t have to stay stuck either. 💛

On paper, you’re doing everything “right.”
But internally? It never quite feels like enough.

If you struggle with high achievement or perfectionism, you might know this feeling well—constant pressure, overthinking, fear of messing up, and difficulty slowing down… even when you’re exhausted.

We have a therapist with immediate openings who specializes in perfectionism and high-achieving anxiety. She offers both talk therapy and EMDR to help you quiet the inner critic, feel more grounded, and redefine success in a way that actually feels sustainable.

You don’t have to keep living in overdrive to be worthy. 💛
Support is here when you’re ready.

If you’re the one everyone relies on—at work, at home, everywhere in between—this is your reminder that you deserve support too. 💛

We have a therapist with immediate openings who specializes in working with women in helping professions (think teachers, nurses, caregivers, and more). She understands the burnout, the emotional load, and the pressure to always “hold it together.”

She offers both talk therapy and EMDR, depending on what feels like the right fit for you.

You don’t have to keep pouring from an empty cup.
Reach out when you’re ready—we’d love to support you.

POV: you’re trying to “use your coping skills” but everything in you is like 😤🐧

Growth isn’t always peaceful journaling and deep breaths… sometimes it looks like frustration, resistance, and doing it anyway.

Trying counts. Even when it’s messy. Even when you’re annoyed about it.

Honestly? Especially then.

Imposter syndrome is so sneaky.

It shows up like:
“Who do you think you are?”
Meanwhile… you’re literally doing the thing. Showing up. Trying. Caring.

You don’t need to feel confident to be competent.
You don’t need to have it all figured out to be worthy of being here.

Sometimes growth just feels like doubt in disguise.

Be gentle with yourself today—you’re allowed to take up space, even while you’re still becoming. 💛
