Hot days can make it easy for kids to fall behind on fluids. ๐Ÿ’ง

Keep water nearby, offer it before and after outdoor play, and add fruit if plain water is not a favorite.

Watch for a dry mouth, dark urine, fewer tears, or unusual tiredness; these are signs your child needs more fluids. And if something ever feels off, we're here to help you figure it out.

Save this for your next afternoon by the Hudson River. If you want a pediatrician you can text with questions about moments like these, schedule a Meet & Greet with us. ๐Ÿค

The first month of school comes with a hidden side effect. Your kid is about to catch everything going around. ๐Ÿคง

It happens to every family. New classroom, new germs, and suddenly it feels like one cold rolls straight into the next. The good news is that this is normal. All those little colds are part of how kids build up their immune systems, and most run their course at home with rest and fluids.

So what actually deserves a closer look? Keep an eye on fevers that climb high or won't come down, any trouble breathing, signs of dehydration like no wet diapers, or honestly anything that just doesn't sit right with you. Regular hand washing before snacks and after school helps cut down on a lot of what gets passed around too.

You don't have to guess your way through every sniffle. For our members, a quick text is often all it takes to know whether to watch and wait or come in.

The busiest season of family life is almost here, and access matters most exactly when the calendar gets full. ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ

Think about the moments that actually come up in the fall. The morning of a game when your kid seems a little off and you need to know. The rash that appears after a weekend outside. The question that hits you at 8pm.

For members at Rivertowns Pediatrics, those moments mean a quick text, a photo, or a secure video call with a doctor who already knows your child. You get real answers, real fast, from someone who gets your family.

Parents describe that shift as a total game changer. It's the difference between managing everything alone and feeling genuinely supported.

Ready for that kind of access when you need it? Schedule a Meet & Greet with us. We would love to care for your family. ๐Ÿค

If bedtime has shifted later this summer, you are not alone. ๐ŸŒ™

About two weeks before school starts, begin moving bedtime earlier by 15 minutes every few days. Keep wake-up times steady and create a calm routine with fewer screens and more quiet time.

Small changes can help your childโ€™s body ease back into a school rhythm.

Save this for the back-to-school reset. And if sleep is still a struggle, Rivertowns Pediatric is here to help.

Today we get to celebrate the person behind Rivertowns Pediatrics. Happy birthday, Dr. Gupta! ๐ŸŽ‰

If you have ever watched him get right down on the floor to meet a nervous toddler at their level, or text a worried parent back within minutes, you already know how much he pours into this practice and these families every single day.

So from all of us on the team, and from the many families who trust him with their kids, happy birthday to the doctor who makes pediatric care feel personal.

Every parent has that moment of uncertainty: is this something I should reach out about, or am I overreacting? If that sounds familiar, you are in very good company. ๐Ÿ’›

Here is what matters. It is worth reaching out when a fever will not come down, when breathing looks like hard work, when you notice signs of dehydration like no wet diapers, or honestly anytime something just does not feel right to you. You know your child better than anyone, and that instinct matters.

The part I most want parents to hear is that you do not have to be certain before you reach out. Getting clarity quickly is the entire point, and for our families a quick text or a secure video call with your doctor often sorts it out in minutes, right from home. You never have to sit with the uncertainty alone.

If you want that kind of access when you need it, schedule a Meet & Greet with us. We would love to be the doctor you can always reach. ๐Ÿค

The thing parents tell us most often has very little to do with a diagnosis. It is about how it feels to finally be known. ๐Ÿค

We could describe what we do all day long, but it lands better coming from the families who live it. Words like they always show up, we feel connected to all three doctors, and such a friendly, well organized practice for our new baby are the ones we never take for granted.

They love that they never feel rushed, and that they can text the doctor directly and get an answer right away. That connection is everything, because when your doctor truly knows your child, everything gets easier, from faster answers to calmer decisions.

Being part of a practice that shows up for your family changes everything. Ready to feel that difference? Schedule a Meet & Greet with us. We would be honored to care for your family. ๐Ÿ’›
