The East Medical Clinic provides family medicine, surgery, and podiatry services. Marshall Browning Hospital offers inpatient and outpatient care; emergency, medical and surgical services, lab, rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, and 19 specialty clinics. Marshall Browning Hospital is proud to announce that its Diagnostic Imaging Department has received a three-year accreditation in mammography from the American College of Radiology (ACR) and has achieved MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) certification. This designation recognizes the department’s commitment to the highest standards of image quality, patient care, and safety.

The ACR accreditation is considered the gold standard in medical imaging. It is granted only to facilities that meet rigorous standards, as determined by a peer-review evaluation conducted by board-certified radiologists and medical physicists. The assessment covers image quality, personnel qualifications, equipment performance, and quality control procedures.

“Receiving ACR accreditation reflects our Imaging Department’s ongoing dedication to delivering safe, accurate, and high-quality breast imaging services. Early detection remains our most powerful tool in the fight against breast disease, and our patients can be confident in the care we provide right here in our community,” said Tammy Eisenhauer, Imaging Director.

Marshall Browning Hospital’s Imaging Department has a combined 40 years of experience in mammography.

The Imaging Department provides a full range of diagnostic imaging, including 3D mammography. Marshall Browning Hospital encourages all eligible individuals to schedule their annual mammograms, as early detection is one of the most effective ways to fight breast cancer. Lukas sees patients EVERY WEDNESDAY. He conducts evaluations for common bone and joint concerns, helps determine what’s going on, and guides you toward the right next steps.

MARSHALL BROWNING HOSPITAL INVESTS IN ADVANCED LUNG TESTING TECHNOLOGY

Marshall Browning Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of a new Platinum Elite™ Series Body Plethysmograph Pulmonary Function Testing System from MGC Diagnostics to our Cardiopulmonary Department.

This advanced system allows our team to perform comprehensive pulmonary function testing right here at Marshall Browning Hospital. Pulmonary function tests are non-invasive tests that help determine how well a patient’s lungs are working, including how much air the lungs can hold, how quickly air can move in and out, and how effectively oxygen moves from the lungs into the bloodstream.

The new system also features a specialized enclosed testing area, commonly called a body box, which provides more detailed measurements of lung volume and airflow. These measurements can help physicians evaluate and manage conditions such as asthma, COPD, emphysema, and other breathing or lung disorders.

For patients, the new technology means access to advanced, accurate lung testing close to home, without the need to travel to a larger medical center for many types of pulmonary testing.

The addition of the Platinum Elite system reflects Marshall Browning Hospital’s continued commitment to investing in modern technology and providing high-quality healthcare services to the communities we serve.
