Dolly and Carol (and all of us) would love if you would consider dropping off some new/gently used children's books at Sunnycrest. We are holding a children's book drive to honor Dolly Parton and benefit the kids of Audubon Elementary School. Please drop off your books on Thursday or Friday of this week. We have a cart at the bottom of our wheelchair ramp on 1st floor on which you can leave your book donations if Carol doesn't happen to be there to receive your donation. Hope you can help us with the book drive! Thank you!

We had a great time on our annual hayrides! A huge thanks to Ken Thill & Moose Geraghty for letting us borrow their hay wagon for several years. A big shout out to our Maintenance, Life Enrichment & Floor Care and teams for coordinating the event! Thank you to Dietary for making some delicous pumpkin bars for everyone to enjoy after the ride!

Thank you to David for wowing us with your delicious cookies! David received a recipe from his neighbor, Winnie, and brought it to life in a cooking demonstration. David shared that it has always been his dream to have a cooking show. He certainly made that dream a reality! David did a great job! He shared with all who wanted to try his cookies. He is planning to do this again next month using a Rice Krisipie Treat recipe. We appreciate your thought and effort which went into this activity, David!

...and the winner of our diet cola blind taste test is....(drumroll please).....DIET COKE! Diet Pepsi followed at 2nd place with Royal Crown (RC) Zero at 3rd and Diet Sam's Choice cola in 4th. Some folks couldn't believe what they actually chose! Lifelong Diet Pepsi drinkers selected Diet Coke. Lifelong Diet Coke drinkers selected RC Zero! It was a fun and funny experience:)
