JMW Counseling Would like to welcome Janice Tellier, M.S, NCC to our Team!
Janice is currently accepting new clients in our Dunmore office. She works with individuals 14 and over. She is currently accepting Geisinger, Aetna, Cigna, Varipro, Allied Trades and Self-pay, we are working on her taking BCBS in the future. We are excited to bring Janice to our team!

Greetings and Namaste, you can call me Janice or Je’T. I received a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Scranton, PA, earned a BFA in Technical Theatre
from the Professional Theatre Training Program at the University of Wisconsin, and embodied a lifetime of experiences between these two worlds.
As an Existential/Humanistic therapist, I honor the opportunity to accompany you while defining values and finding meaning; to genuinely see you, hear you, and witness your healing journey while safely encouraging your compassionate and authentic Self to emerge. With a colorful background in the arts, theatre/dance, yoga, medical qi gong, and therapeutic work with college populations, I offer an accepting sensibility, artistic sensitivity, and empathic awareness to assist others in making meaningful adjustments to their life. Utilizing a holistic approach with evidence-based practices, process, and experiential modalities such as artwork, creative expression with music, writing, or role play activities, bodily movement, breathing, and tapping exercises, as well as fostering restorative moments in nature, I aim to inspire hope and empower change.
I welcome the chance to help you navigate challenging times with a fresh approach and renewed energy toward revealing inner wisdom, allowing what cannot be said to be freely expressed for your greater purpose. I respect the work that must be done and believe that it need not be done alone.
