Meet Pádraig – a true fan of Duke DPT students. 💙
Pádraig attended the Duke Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) White Coat Ceremony this spring to cheer on the students who made a difference in his life through the Duke Pediatric Movement Matters Program.

Pediatric Movement Matters, under the leadership of Dr. Laura Case, provides children with neurological and neuromuscular conditions – and their caregivers – the opportunity to participate in a hands-on educational program alongside Duke DPT students. Under the supervision of licensed pediatric physical therapists and faculty, students gain valuable experience while learning how to care for children with these conditions.

As a new school year begins, this is just another reminder of the amazing relationships that are forged between patients and trainees at Duke – and why those connections matter so much.

There's nothing sweeter than a visit from our friends at Triangle Dairy Queen! 💙🍦

Last week, the Triangle Dairy Queen team stopped by Duke Children's to hand out Dilly Bars and share smiles with our patients and families. Their kindness helped brighten the day for so many children, proving that even a simple treat can make a big difference. Several of our youngest patients even took the opportunity to try ice cream for the very first time, making the visit even more special. 💙
