๐ We want to give a shout out to our therapist Elena! ๐ We have loved having her on our team and helping those in our community.
We asked Elena to share a habit that seems small but has helped her with her own mental health, and here is what she had to say:
"A small habit that has had a big impact on my mental health is practicing stillness and intentionally doing nothing for a short period each day. This includes not scrolling, not listening to anything, and not trying to be productive. Instead, just practice sitting, noticing, and letting things be (preferably outdoors!)
At first, it can feel pointless or uncomfortable. My mind wants to fill the space immediately with thoughts, worries, or random to-do lists. However, the more you practice, the easier it gets! It creates a small window of time where your mind can settle and process what it hasnโt had time to process."
